Step one, sign up for hosting and a domain. Above is a link to a company that has had good ratings on this. For most web sites I recommend this plan it is affordable and has most everything you will need. If your site becomes very popular we can always add more features if needed. Once you have your domain simply email sales@jonesconsults.com and we will get you started on making your site. Feeling Brave? After you have your Domain name and hosting setup it is time to get
started. You should take several sheets of paper and sketch out
what you want your site to look like. Once you have a sheet of paper for each page you can add details to each page (contents). Then you can arrange them on a large table to determine layout. You will find that using paper to get your website planned will save hours of trial and error in your web design program. |

Now that you have your website content and structure on paper it is time
to start building the site. You can use many different HTML
editors but to get started use Microsoft FrontPage. It is visual
and powerful enough to add special code later. Using MS FrontPage start a new website. To this site make a page for each of your pieces of paper. |
